WCG has six colleges across Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

Students come here to study a wide range of vocational and academic subjects.

We are a truly international college, with links with countries across the world and students who have travelled from five continents to learn here.

We are the first college group in the UK to be granted Bachelor degree awarding powers alongside Foundation degree awarding powers by the Office for Students – meaning the academic quality and standards of our degrees are equal to any university.

Six colleges, six facts

  1. Royal Leamington Spa College is a centre for specialism in Games Art and Design, supporting the local computer games industry which has one of the main UK hubs right here in Leamington Spa.
  2. Moreton Morrell was the first equine college in Britain
  3. Rugby College has received funding to develop a low carbon construction centre on site, to train up a new generation of low carbon heating engineers.
  4. Pershore College has celebrated over 65 years of horticulture excellence – view its £5.8m redevelopment
  5. A Land Rover lab-car is among the many pieces of equipment donated by employers to Warwick Trident College
  6. At Evesham College, our hair, beauty and barbering salons are run as a commercial venture and welcomes clients of all ages

We offer flexible study pathways to suit the lifestyles and learning styles of all our students:

  • 49% study with us part-time
  • 14% are apprentices
  • 1% are adults studying in the workplace

 

Higher education

As well as providing excellent further education, the college group has around 1,000 higher education students at any one time, with over 300 graduating from HE courses each year.

We offer a personal approach to studying higher education with lots of individual attention and continual assessment for an effective and fun learning experience.

Our HE courses are awarded by Warwickshire College and Coventry University.

Further education

We have the largest number of 16-18-year-old students enrolled in Coventry and Warwickshire compared to all other providers for this age group in the region.
